Our commitment to service is the foundation of our business, and we go the extra mile to make sure you feel confident and cared for every step of the way.

 

Return Policy

At Detector Direct, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our products, each of which is backed by the manufacturer's warranty. If you encounter a technical issue or need repair services for a product you've purchased from us, please contact the manufacturer directly or reach out to us at info@detectordirect.com. For prompt assistance, kindly include a video of the issue in your email to help us better understand and resolve the problem.

Manufacturer Warranties:

  • The warranties for our products vary based on the brand and model. Please refer to the specific manufacturer's website for comprehensive warranty details.

Damaged or Defective Products:

  • If you receive a product that is damaged or defective upon arrival, please inform us immediately at info@detectordirect.com to begin the exchange process.
  • Products damaged in transit or defective due to manufacturing errors are eligible for exchange under these conditions:
    • You must request an exchange or store credit for damaged or defective products within 10 days of receipt by emailing info@detectordirect.com.
    • All returned products must include original packaging, manufacturer accessories, promotional items, and instruction manuals. Missing items will incur charges at full MSRP.
    • Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee if not returned in their original, unused condition.
    • Shipping times for exchanged products may vary based on your location.
    • The purchase amount, minus any applicable restocking fees, will be issued as store credit for future purchases.
    • Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges, including signature and insurance. Detector Direct is not liable for items lost during return shipping.
    • Please allow 7-14 business days for processing upon receipt of your return.

Items Under $1,000:

  • We aim for your complete satisfaction. If you change your mind about a purchase under $1,000, we offer returns or exchanges within 30 days of receipt, provided the following conditions are met:
    • Products must be unused, new-in-box, and regularly priced below $1,000.
    • All items must be returned in original packaging with all accessories and manuals.
    • A 15% restocking fee applies if the product has been opened or used.
    • You are responsible for all return shipping costs. Detector Direct is not liable for items lost during return shipping.
    • Allow up to 7 business days for processing your return after we receive it.

Items Over $1,000 (“Premium” Products):

  • Due to the high value of Premium products, we encourage thorough research before purchasing. All sales of Premium products are final. For damaged or defective Premium items, please see the Damaged or Defective Products section above for exchange procedures.

We Cannot Honor Returns or Exchanges If:

  • Damage or defects are not disclosed prior to processing the return.
  • Returns are requested due to user error, mishandling, incorrect usage, air testing failures, or inability to find treasures, metals, or water in dry areas.
  • Returns are requested more than 10 days after receipt.

Price Guarantee:

  • We offer competitive pricing on metal detectors, aligned with manufacturers' guidelines. If you find a better price before purchasing, contact us. We strive to match or beat competitor prices.

  • This guarantee applies only to the cost of the metal detector and excludes package deals or free merchandise.
